Welcome to BioZone!
BioZone is a PhD student-led team with a goal of communicating research to the WA community and fostering transdisiplinary research.
How do we do this?
Every year, BioZone students plan and deliver workshops and events catered for all parts of the WA community. BioZone PhD students come from many science-field backgrounds at UWA and are backed by a multidisiplinary team of academics.
What do we do?

An annual Art-Science Exhibit held during National Science Week available for all public to attend & submit artwork to.

Immersive workshops presented by BioZone PhD students catered for undergraduate students.

Transdisciplinary collaboration on research projects through BioZone Collaboration grants exclusively for BioZone PhD students
I am a PhD student, can I join the BioZone team?
Yes you can apply! In the BioZone team you will help deliver these events as well as particpate in transdisciplinary research projects. You will also be able to apply for the BioZone exclusive Completion Scholarship. Please email BioZone@uwa.edu.au if you are interested.
